If so, you may want to consider chelation  therapy, which involves introducing chelating agents into the body by an intravenous infusion performed in  our office.  Chelation is a process that we all encounter in our daily lives. For example, soap acts as a chelator by  surrounding grease particles so that they can be washed away. A water softener uses chelating agents to  take out minerals. Ethylene-diamine-tetra-acetic acid (EDTA) performs in a similar manner in our blood  vessels. It takes out metal ions that can damage our health.  Chelation therapy is still somewhat controversial, but there is ample evidence that when properly  administered, chelation therapy can improve metabolic function and increase blood flow by opening blocked  arteries throughout the body. Fortunately, there are relatively few negative side effects if chelation therapy is  performed properly.  EDTA is administered by a slow intravenous infusion using a small needle. The process takes from 2 to 4  hours depending on the individual. In order to get the best results, several treatments are needed. We invite  you to come in and see our chelation room, meet our staff, and discuss the details of chelation therapy.  Home Page Our Doctors Our Services Our Treatments Our Programs Our Products Conditions & Information News & Updates Patient Services Contact Us
